Cobb Energy Centre for the Performing Arts Could Impact Vinings Real Estate

Cobb Energy Centre for the Performing Arts

News Update

The Cobb Energy Centre for the Performing Arts represents the most significant new attraction in Vinings and the northwest corner of Atlanta.

Scheduled to open in 2007, the Cobb Performing Arts Center has been strategically located at the I-75 and I-285 interchange with easy on and off ramps. Featuring concerts, musicals, Broadway plays and various other performers, they intend to compete directly with the Fox Theater and Chastain Amphitheater. For homeowners in the Vinings area, this could serve as a potential boom in home values once the center opens.

Real estate in and around Chastain Park has seen skyrocketing prices in recent years and no doubt, having a cultural attraction nearby is a pretty big incentive. Expectations are running high that the Cobb Performing Arts Center will do the same but not just for residential developments. The Cumberland and Galleria office complexes will also benefit by becoming prime locations for companies wishing to reduce their intown office space expenses while still remaining in a highly visible Atlanta location.

With the current renovation underway of Cumberland mall and a plethora of new restaurants entering the area, the northwest corner is undergoing a dramatic and almost overnight change that just five years ago was unthinkable. Over the next 36 months, expect to see some pretty dramatic changes within this area.
