I am interested in finding out about a builder named Sharon McSwain..They are developing a new area on South Cobb,(just inside the perimeter) called Vinnings on the Chatahoochee..Does anyone have any info on the builder or the area..

Sharon McSwain Homes is a local Atlanta home builder known for developing homes for the first time home buyer. Many of their properties are typically outside the property although they have developed some townhome communities inside the perimeter. From a price standpoint, they tend to offer homes that are a "good deal" and priced very fairly for the markets they are in. Their exteriors and floorplans are average in my opinion and I don't tend to see great architectural designs by this company on the market. But as I said before, it appears their focus is developing affordable homes that are priced right for the first time home buyer. If you want great architectural or great floor plans, you are going to have to spend a great deal more. Their quality matches their price point which means this. If you want top notch quality, you are going to pay for it. The real measure in their quality is going to come from their customer service. Do they respond to issues every new home buyer has when purchasing a new home? Will they come fix that leaky bathtub or crown molding that has separated. Walk one of their neighborhoods and talk to home buyers who have been living there and see what they have to say? As I said, they are a good value for the first time home buyer. They know what type of home they need to build for a very specific market of people and they seem to be smart enough to stick with what they know best.
