(Marietta, Ga. – August 10, 2006) - The Cobb County Water System has received a 2006 Achievement Award from the National Association of Counties (NACo) for its Water Efficiency Program. The Water Efficiency Program was launched in March 2005 to assist Cobb County’s customers with saving water and lowering their water bills. The program offers county residents a variety of programs and materials to help lower water consumption.

While searching the web for new communities I came across an HOA website for a Vinings community that has been promoting their community as being built by a homebuilder that was ranked #1 one by J.D. Power & Associates.
Being somewhat ignorant, I knew J.D. Power & Associates ranked cars and computers but I was surprised that this J.D. even ranked homebuilders. But they do and the information they gather was quite informative.
The study is based on customer satisfaction after they purchased their new home and rankings are evaluated based on builder’s warranty/customer service; home readiness; builder’s sales staff; construction manager; quality of workmanship/materials; price/value; physical design elements; builder’s design center; recreational facilities; and location.
