Back in 1997 when I began searching for my first home, Atlanta had just started to feel some of the changes from the 1996 Olympics. One community in particular that was starting to benefit from these sudden changes was Druid Knoll Townhomes located on North Druid Hills in Atlanta.

Druid Knoll was something of a paradox since at one point, it was a popular rental community for kids in college and then next, it was a hot community to own and live in. For many young and emerging dot.com kids, Druid Knoll Townhomes represented their first home. For those buying a Druid Knoll Townhome prior to 1996 at only $120k, it was an investors dream.
